Un falso molto pericoloso del 20 lire 1905 “Aquila araldica"

The original pieces of this beautiful coin to have a quote, also on the push generalized to the rise in the market is quite high. The latest Catalog Giant 2000 share: Bb. spl 2.300.000 – Fdc as 300,000.  

On the piazza of Milan, appeared a few years ago some fake 20 lire 1905 invoice very much that, at a glance, might appear to be authentic. Here are the differences compared to the original:

  • The border, or margin: equal to the size but double (seen with the lens you see two circles). The perlinatura, which in the original is attached to the circle border, is in some areas, a smaller and detached from this.  
  • Outline: the lining is well made, but the bars are slightly wider and have crushed above all, on the edge of the contour of the right. The space between the bars is not always fair: there remain many imperfections.  
  • Drawing the right: the design of the head is well made but the surfaces of the letters of the inscription are very rounded and the surface of the field, view of a backlight, it is more concave.  
  • The design of the reversethis is very good and precise. Also in this case the surfaces  
  • of the letters of the inscription are rounded, but the field is convex.  
  • Signature of the engraver: the upper part of the letter P HOPE is almost full, and so too the letter And. the letter N it is incomplete at the bottom. 
  • Date: equal.
  • Value: equal.
  • Mark brand: equal.
  • Weight: perfect.
